Falzone’s Service, Inc., a reputable automobile service provider since 1945, is seeking experienced Automobile Technicians to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Wilkes Barre, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles, ensuring maximum reliability and functionality. This role requires excellent eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and a deep understanding of complex mechanical or electronic systems of vehicles. Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills are also essential for providing advice to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
Accurately diagnose issues by inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components
Repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems
Perform routine maintenance work (e.g., replacing fluids, lubricating parts) to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity
Schedule future maintenance sessions and educate motorists on good vehicle use
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks)
Keep equipment and tools in good condition
Qualifications
Proven experience as an auto mechanic
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
Ability to handle various tools (e.g., pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift)
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship (preferred)
Valid certification (e.g., ASE) is a definite plus
PA Inspection License (Preferred)

This is a full-time position requiring more than 40 hours per week.
